Take notice that Russell McClain has filed an application for a Subdivision. Mr. McClain would like to split an approximately 8.4 acre parcel into two, equally sized parcels for sale. Mr. McClain is not proposing to change the zoning of those two parcels from Agriculture, but has indicated to me that he intends to sell the newly created parcels for residential use. The property in question is described as part of the SE ¼ SE ¼ of Section 27, Township 25 North, Range 68 West, Wheatland, Platte County, Wyoming.
The Platte County Planning & Zoning Commission will review the request on Wednesday, January 16th, 2019 at 6:00 PM. If approved, the Platte County Commissioners will review the request on Tuesday, January 22nd, 2019 at 10:00 AM. Both of these meetings will take place in the Commissioner’s Chambers at the Platte County Courthouse, which is located at 800 9th Street, in Wheatland.
Expressing any concerns to the Planning Office, 600 9th St., Wheatland, WY 82201, at least one week before the first hearing allows this office to incorporate your input into the staff report, thereby brining awareness of issues to the Boards prior to the hearings.
