She noted that the tax collections are complete for the specific purpose optional tax that began in January of 2013. Collections will now start for the new specific purpose optional tax. R&B Supt Angle presented encroachment licenses from Ben Hilty, The Tire Shop and the Town of Wheatland for approval. A letter was signed to send to WCCA explaning the County’s stance on the CRCMF red flag rating it received. Tom Overstreet of Pro River Tech via phone updated the Board on current IT projects. Chairman Shockley called the public hearing to order at approximately 10:00 a.m. Commissioner Kontour moved and Johnston seconded to approve the Special Use Permit request from Sally Sanchez to operate a multi-use venue in an Agriculture Zoning District with one condition as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The motion carried. Commissioner Kontour moved and Johnston seconded to approve the Subdivision request from Jason Halvorsen located near the Y-O Ranch Estates Subdivision with two conditions as recommended by the Planning and Zoning Commission. The motion carried. The public hearing closed at approximately 11:22 a.m. Emergency Management Coordinator Stevenson shared a presentation that was done at a Cyber Summit he recently attended with the Board. Commissioner Johnston moved and Kontour seconded to approve Resolution #2018-14 entitled: Reimbursement Resolution. The motion carried. (The complete resolution is on file in the County Clerk’s Office and available at www.plattecountywyoming.com) Commissioner Kontour moved and Johnston seconded to approve the proposal of Greg Orr of Reliance Construction Consulting for the schematic design for proposition 1 in the amount of $13,400 and proposition 2 in the amount of $20,160.
