Public Notice No. 10124


Take notice that Harold and Deborah McVay, applicants and titleholders, have filed an application for a Special Permit to Subdivide property described as Lot 1 of the McVay Subdivison, which is located in part of the NE ¼ SE ¼  of Section 8, Township 29 North, Range 68 West, Glendo, Platte County, Wyoming. The property is located at 27 and 29 S. Pine Avenue, Glendo.

As the property lies within one mile of the incorporated limits of the Town of Glendo the public hearings will first be held before the Glendo Town Council on Wednesday, March 7, 2018, at 7:00 PM or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. This hearing will be held at the Glendo Town Hall.

If approved by the Glendo Town Council, the request will then be held before the Platte County Planning and Zoning Board on Wednesday, March 14, 2018 at 6:00 PM and before the Board of County Commissioners on Tuesday, March 20, 2018 at 10:00 AM or as soon thereafter as the matter may be heard. Both hearings will be held in the Commissioner’s Room, located in the basement of the County Court House, 800 9th St., Wheatland, WY 82201.

Expressing any concerns to the Planning Office, 600 9th St., Wheatland, WY 82201, at least a week before the first hearing allows this office to incorporate your input into the staff report, thereby brining awareness of issues to the Boards prior to the hearings. Submitting your support or concerns in writing to the Planning Office is preferable, but you are also welcome to call the office. Questions may be answered by calling 307-269-0513.
