WHEATLAND — On Thursday, July 20, a local community mixer was hosted at the local Pizza Hut.

The manager of the Pizza Hut, Jordan O’Brien, said they went to the Chamber of Commerce in hopes to be the host of an upcoming community mixer to introduce the community to the restaurant under new management.
After joining the team, O’Brien realized Pizza Hut was a member of the Chamber, and thought it’d be a good opportunity to have the first ever Pizza Hut-hosted community mixer.
O’Brien joined as manager in December, but has always worked with Pizza Hut for his past jobs. He said a big change to the restaurant after a switch in management is longer hours. The Pizza Hut in Wheatland is now open from 11 a.m. to 10 p.m every day.
