People from all over Platte County enjoyed Trunk or Treat

1. Merlin Hitt, president of the Platte County Economic Development led the annual costume parade around the streets of Historic downtown Wheatland. 2. Dinosaurs were very popular this year and one T-Rex could be spotted crossing Gilchrist Street with the Eastern Rocky Mountains in the distance. 3. Brandie Michelle and her daughter Delilah dressed as primal hunter and the Black Swan. Both costumes as many of those in the parade were hand made. 4. The Kennedy Family chooses to use this event each year as a great bonding experience and a chance to eat a lot of candy. 5. One of the most popular attractions downtown was the drone that was brought and operated by the Wyoming Highway Patrol. The K-9 units were also downtown and although the drug sniffing dogs were muzzled, the kids were mesmerized by that level of law enforcement. 6. Two little chicks were riding in a white basket wagon and when they kept their sunglasses on they were considered the “cool chicks.” 7. Peyton Unrein was dressed as a princess for the annual downtown Trunk or Treat held in downtown Wheatland.
