On Thursday, Jan. 21, heaven gained a beautiful angel, Peggy Trammell. Peggy was born on Wednesday, Feb. 19, 1958 in Arkansas City, Kan.  Her early childhood was spent in various Nebraska communities, with her family settling in Mitchell, Neb. in the early 1970’s. She attended school there until the age of 16. At that time, she relocated and lived with Don and Barb Freis in Hershey, Neb.  Peggy finished her high school career there, graduating from Hershey public school in 1976. She later moved back to the panhandle area, residing in Alliance, Neb. for many years.  Her heart and life were full with the birth of Stephanie, in 1978 and the circle completed when Matthew was born in 1984.
Peggy’s heart was much bigger than her tiny body. Her love and joy overflowed because of that. She loved children, literally everyone’s children, but there are four young people that were her pride and joy.  Her grandchildren, Ayden Dale, Lilyawna Elaine, Maci Mae, and Jace Robert.
Peggy loved to garden and always had something growing in her window sill. She was a fantastic cook and feeding others brought her joy and happiness. Her partner of 15 years, Mark Flohr, was Peggy’s forever love and joy.  Mark was her rock and brought her strength and spoiled her unconditionally.
She will be greatly missed by Mark; her children; grandchildren; parents, Herb and Wanda Lindburg; siblings, Mark Lindburg, Tim Allen, Michelle Rowlee, Sam (Adrienne) Allen, Pennie Garcia, and Brandon Lindburg; numerous cousins, nieces, and nephews; and her favorite Aunt Maxine Crawford.  Most importantly she will be missed by her beloved dog, Sadie Sue.
She was preceded in death by her grandson, Ayden; both sets of grandparents; several aunts and uncles; and her brother-in-law.
A memorial to the SMA Organization; Jadon’s Hope Foundation; P.O. Box 742; Olathe, KS 66051 would be appreciated by the family.
Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
