BLANDING, Utah – Patricia Joy Bartlett was born to Richard and Edith Snook on March 17, 1948, in Wheatland. She lost her battle to cancer on Jan. 5, 2018. She was the youngest daughter of her 5 siblings. Patti married the love of her life Richard, and started their life in Riverton, Wyoming where they were blessed with two wonderful daughters, Cody Leigh and Heather Marie.
In 1985 the family relocated to Blanding for an anticipated two-year job, but Blanding became their home for life. Patti became friends and touched the hearts of the community in her works at The White Mesa Mill, Twin Rocks, and as the City Clerk for the City of Blanding. She very much enjoyed camping and fishing with Rich and spending time with the dear friends they found in this town. Family and friends were a foundation for Patti’s happiness, she held them so dear to her heart. This was seen by the many folks of the community that would see her walking with her dear friends after she was able to retire. Her family and friends will feel the love she held for them forever.
Patti had a smile that would brighten anyone’s day, it was infectious and beautiful. She was beautiful, inside and out and always had a positive light to all. She will be remembered as a wonderful wife, loving mother and caring friend. She was very loved and will be greatly missed by all. She is survived by her husband of 50 years Rich, daughters Cody (Roland) Fein of Colorado Springs, Colo., and Heather (Andy) Mills of Salt Lake City, Utah, grandson Hunter Fein, sisters Betty Jenkins and Lila Driscoll, and brother Dale Snook.
She was preceded in death by Richard and Edith Snook, brother Richard and sister Darlene Montgomery. Services were Jan. 11 in Blanding with internment at the Blanding Cemetery.
