How do you handle troubles when they come? As followers of Christ, we have the Bible (our manual for success) to turn to for help. Sadly, the unbeliever does not have that advantage. One thing that is so important is our talk. The Holy Spirit will help God’s followers to be careful with our tongue. What we speak in the midst of a crisis can mean death or life. It is our choice to speak powerful, positive and beautiful words that can heal and uplift, even in the most tragic of situations. We must be mindful of what we say and how we say it. Let’s consider our words BEFORE they reach the air because they cannot be taken back. Our words can change everything. So choose to speak the life-changing promises of Jesus and not the negative death words of the devil. That is a choice we get to make in every phone call, every text, every personal encounter each and every day of our lives.
