NOTICE TO APPROPRIATORS OF GROUND WATER
IN THE PLATTE COUNTY CONTROL AREA
The following applications have been received in the State Engineer’s Office. Upon conclusion of advertising, the applications will be considered by the Platte County Control Area Advisory Board.
Jack E. Johnson: T.F No. U.W. 44-8-235, Enl. Sullivan & Johnson #1 well is an enlargement for additional acreage and total volumetric quantity of water only. The Sullivan & Johnson #1, Permit No. U.W. 33599 is located in the NE¼SW¼ of Sec. 29, T.24N., R.66W. and is permitted for 400 gpm to irrigate 160 acres in the SW¼ of Sec. 29. Water from this well will be commingled with the Sullivan Johnson No. II, Permit No. U.W. 33660 and the South Johnson Irrigation, Permit No. U.W. 193034. There will be no increase in the amount of water produced (gpm) from this well; however, an additional 250 acre ft. of water per calendar year is requested.
T.F. No. U.W. 44-9-235, Enl. Sullivan Johnson No. II well is an enlargement for additional acreage and total volumetric quantity water only. The Sullivan and Johnson No. II well, Permit No. U.W. 33600 is located in the SE¼SW¼ of Sec. 29. Water from this well will be commingled with the Sullivan & Johnson #1, Permit No. U.W. 33599 and the South Johnson Irrigation, Permit No. U.W. 193034. There will be no increase in the amount of water produced (gpm) from this well; however, an additional 200 acre ft. of water per calendar year is requested.
T.F. No. U.W. 44-10-235, Enl. South Johnson Irrigation Well is an enlargement for additional acreage and total volumetric quantity water only. The South Johnson Irrigation Well, Permit No. U.W. 193034 is located in the SE¼SW¼ of Section 29, T.24N., R66W. and is permitted for 500 gpm to irrigate 160 acres in the SW¼ of Sec. 29. Water from this well will be commingled with the Sullivan & Johnson #1, Permit No. U.W. 33599 and the Sullivan and Johnson No. II, Permit No. U.W. 33600. There will be no increase in the amount of water produced (gpm) from this well; however, an additional 400 acre ft. of water per calendar year is requested.
These enlargements are to provide water for an additional 80 acres of irrigated land located in the NE¼ of Section 29.
Any objections to the granting of the above must be made in writing to the State Engineer, Attn: Ground Water Division, Herschler Building 4E, Cheyenne, WY 82002 within ten (10) days of the final publication of this notice.
