Margaret Irene Siel, 92, died Saturday, August 1 at Platte Valley Legacy Home in Wheatland.
Mrs. Siel was born in Otis, Colo., and had lived in Wheatland since 1975.
She received her post-high school education in Colorado and taught in the public school system in Colorado and Wyoming.
An avid bridge player, she was also member of the P.E.O. sisterhood sorority.
She married Ed Siel, in 1950. They later owned two automobile dealerships and operated the Best Western Torchlite Motor Inn in Wheatland for many years.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Henry H. Ochoa and Rose Hackel Ochoa; husband, Ed Siel; three siblings, Josephine Kuntz, Elizabeth Bissell and Henry Ochoa; and son-in-law, Charles Moody.
She is survived by two sisters, Marie Mathewson and Helen Shea; her four daughters, Suzanne Knickerbocker (Mark), Jill Moody, Sandee Kitchen (Mark) and Cindy Hill (Drake); five grandchildren, Amy Gillespie, Mitchell Cozad, Drew Hill, Katherine Kitchen Andren and Scott Kitchen; a great granddaughter; and nieces and nephews.
