WHEATLAND — Patricia Jeffries of the Laramie River Power Station was presented a Patriot Award on Thursday by Kathy Wright, Employer Support of the Guard and Reserve volunteer, in recognition of Jeffries’ extraordinary support of employees serving in the Guard and Reserve, according to a news release issued Thursday by ESGR.
Jeffries was nominated by Navy Petty Officer 3rd Class Katie Case for her support of Case’s military service and that of other Guard and Reserve employees of the power plant.
“Supportive employers like the Laramie River Power Station and Pat Jeffries are vital to the success of our mission and the defense of this nation,” Wright stated in the release. “Our Guard and Reserve members could not perform their military duty without knowing their civilian employer supports them 100 percent.”
