TORRINGTON — Wheatland Lobo varsity went 3-0 in Wyoming Legion East “A” Districts this last week and will enter the State Tournament seated first.
Thursday, the Lobos faced the Cheyenne Hawks as pitcher Joel Anderson went five complete innings and began the sixth before the game was postponed due to weather. Anderson only surrendered one run while striking out six in his five innings. With the Lobos leading 2-1 as the game resumed Friday, Mytch Pollock picked up where Anderson left off only allowing one additional run, closing out the game with final score 7-2.
