Lloyd Leven Moore Jr. passed away on Thursday, April 22 in Crystal River, Fla., he was 78.
Lloyd was born on Nov. 6, 1942 in Tampa, Fla., where graduated from Chamberlain High School. He was married to Judith Ann Penix on Nov. 6, 1964. He received his pipefitters apprenticeship and was a member of the Plumbers/Pipefitters UA Local 624 in Tampa, Fla., and 192 in Cheyenne.
He had a passion for the mountain man lifestyle and the Rocky Mountain West and moved his family out west in the mid-1970s. There, he worked to help build various power plants in the region - Ogden, Utah, Colstrip Mont., Gillette , and Wheatland. In the mid 1980s he started his own business - Lloyd’s Welding, in Wheatland, where he worked until the mid 1990s. He and Judy retired in Inglis, Fla. Lloyd was a music lover, a boat enthusiast and one the best repairmen around. He was an active member of the Inglis Masonic Lodge #324 in Inglis, FL. He was Vice President on the Cedars of Lebanon Cemetery Board, and was active in their annual fish fry (fundraiser).
Lloyd Jr. is preceded in death by his parents Lloyd & Ora Moore. He is survived by his wife, Judith (Judy) Ann Moore and his sons, Leven Lloyd Moore and Patrick Loyal Moore.
A Memorial service will be held at the Cedars of Lebanon Cemetery, Inglis, Fla. Future date to be announced.
