Lady Bulldogs defeat Pine Bluffs in all three junior high games

WHEATLAND – Last Monday night in the middle of a snowstorm the three Lady Bulldog junior high teams were making it rain in route to defeating Pine Bluffs in all three games.

In the first contest, Raelyn Goff led all scorers with 14 points and helped lead her 7th grade team to a 22-9 victory. In the second contest, the Lady Bulldogs under coach Steve Pollock defeated their opponents 44- 12.

The eighth-grade team which won their 24th straight game in a two-year period defeated Pine Bluffs 37-13. Lily Anderson was high scorer with 14 points followed by Maggie Hicks with 9 points, Molly McGuire with four points, Carly Robertson with three points, Haidyn Sisson with two points, Bianca Dawson with two points, Landri Vaughn with two points and Katie Miller had one point.

The girls repeated as conference champions and finished 25-0 in the two years that they have competed for Wheatland Middle School.
