Joe Connors passed away on Oct. 16 while at his son’s home in Daniel
Joe was born Oct. 27, 1947 in Quakertown, Penn to Paul and Blanche (Schaffer) Connors, Joe spent his youth hunting and fishing with his cousins Dennis and Johnny Csondor in the woods of Pennsylvania.
Joe joined the Air Force and was honorably discharged due to a medical problem.
Joe and Sheila (Wolownik) were married and together had two children Jeff and Tara.
Joe and Teresa (Rine) Copeland were married in 2000 in Wheatland.
Joe worked as a welder nearly all his life, who used his creative intuition to not only repair farm and ranch equipment, but make it bigger and better. His ingenuity throughout his career is what made him stand out among others and is something that will always be remembered of him.
He was a member of the AMVETS Service organization and always had an on-going relationship with mother nature. His favorite hobbies were hunting and fishing.
Joe is survived by his wife Teresa, son Jeff (Dawn) Connors; daughter Tara (Derrek) Lockman; grandchildren, Taylor and Jeffrey Connors; Brody and Baylee Lockman; sister Margaret (Tony) Roberts of Levittown, Penn.
He is preceded in death by his parents, Paul and Blanche Connors; two sisters, Linda Vorhees, Peggy Dreas and brother-in-law Tim Dreas, also brother Michael Connors.
No services will be held per Joe’s request. A small gathering of his friends will be held at a later date.
