CHEYENNE – John Paul Livers, 73, of Cheyenne passed away Dec. 26, 2017, at Cheyenne Regional Medical Center.
He was the son of the Rev. Christopher and Charldean Holloway Livers. Born Nov. 19, 1944, he was raised in parsonages across Nebraska.
In 1963, he graduated from Stapleton Nebraska High School, where he played sports. He later attended Southwestern College in Waxahachie, Texas.
He served in the Army in Vietnam and was honorably discharged as a SP5. Later he attended Evangel College in Springfield, Mo.
He was an office manager for Lock Trucking of Wheatland and for Pepsi Cola in Cheyenne. He donated a kidney to his brother, Jim, in 1986, which lengthened his brothers’ life by many years. He enjoyed crossword puzzles and watching sports.
John is survived by two brothers, Glenn (Tomise) Livers and Raymond Kent; brother-in-law, Butch Hassler; sister-in-law, Marilyn Livers and many nieces and
nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents; sister, Ruth Hassler and brother, Jim Livers.
Memorial Services will be 11 a.m., Friday, Jan. 5, 2018, at Impact Ministries, 956 Maple St., in Wheatland. A light luncheon will follow.
He left many nephews and nieces who will miss Uncle John.
