JoAnne was brought into this world on Sept. 10, 1942, to Paul V and Celia Martinez. She married Buddy Manuel Bueno in 1964. She was a loving and dedicated mother to a family of five yet was always ready to offer our home to friends and family who needed a place to stay.

JoAnne recently lost her second son, Anthony Paul Bueno, in April of 2021 and is survived by Buddy Manuel Bueno Jr. and Diana Moorehouse (Bueno) and their families.

After graduating from Sunrise High School in 1960, JoAnne dedicated her professional life to the hair fashion industry. She graduated from Beauty School in 1962. She entered her career the same year and ended her 50-year tenure in 2012. Even before retiring, she was already pouring herself into her community. She spent her summer months working for either the local golf course or the Guernsey City Visitor Center. She was also very active in the Catholic Church, Senior Community Center, VFW Auxiliary and Red Hat Club. She was a dedicated contributor to the several institutions which care for children in need.

During her lifetime, JoAnne enjoyed camping and fishing with her family. She was an avid bowler and was on several bowling teams which claimed state and regional titles. She traveled regularly with the Senior Center and enjoyed the company of her friends and family.
