Jennie M. Cline, 83, went to be with God, Monday, Dec. 17 in Cheyenne. She was born Oct. 6, 1935 to Herman W. and Ada V. (Owens) Stone in Mountain Home, Ark. The third of four children.
Jennie married Robert E. Heckman in 1953 to which two children were born, Robert E. Heckman, Jr. and Jeanne M. Heckman. They later divorced. She married William (Bill) L. Cline, March 23, 1983 in Colorado Springs, Colo. They were married 34 years at the time of her death. Jennie enjoyed traveling, flowers, reading, sewing crafts, church and family. She worked as a secretary for the City of Colorado Springs many years before moving to North Carolina. In 1982, she returned to Colorado Springs.
She attended schools and seminars to become a certified foot reflexologist. She was an active member of Memorial Baptist Church until she became immobilized.
Jennie was preceded in death by her parents, brother William Stone, brother Lindy Stone. Those left to cherish her memory include her husband William (Bill) L. Cline, Wheatland, sister Loretha Guier - Cascade, Colo., son Robert E. Heckman, Jr. (Karen) - Paradise, Calif. Daughter Jeanne M. (Heckman) Bullock - Wheatland, step son Dean Cline - Colorado Springs, Colo., seven grandchildren, nine great grandchildren, 1 great-great granddaughter.
Her Celebration of Life will be Jan. 12 at 10:30 a.m. at Memorial Baptist Church in Wheatland. A luncheon will be provided following the service.
