A funeral service for Janice Marie Redenbaugh, 76, were held on Monday, Sept. 30 at Faith Fellowship in Guernsey with Pastor Dave Anderson officiating. Interment will be held at Prairie Rest Cemetery in Guernsey.
Janice passed away Tuesday, Sept. 24 at Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland. She was born in Rawlins on Friday, March 26, 1943, the daughter of Roy O. and Augusta E. (Kretz) Whittecar.
Janice was reared and educated in Green River where she graduated high school. She married Frank Redenbaugh on Dec. 16, 1966 in Rock Springs. Together they traveled around Wyoming, South Dakota, Montana, and Kansas. She worked as a baker at Little America until moving to Guernsey in 1979.

Her favorite hobbies were playing bingo, going out to eat, bowling, traveling, crafts, playing the Wii, going on picnics, cruising around town, and watching her grandchildren play sports.
She is survived by her children, Bill (Judy) Redenbaugh of Guernsey, Steve Redenbaugh of Cheyenne and DeEtta Bingham of Guernsey; sisters, Mary E. Morin and Vickie Fowler; brothers, George A. Whittecar and Steven R. Whittecar; grandchildren, Michelle (Jeff) Struble, Eric (Tessa) Redenbaugh, Shannon (Jeff) Erickson, Brittany Redenbaugh, Maranda (Michael King) Bingham, Kyle Redenbaugh, Kallie Bingham, Dawson Bingham, Hayeden Bingham, and BraeLyunn Bingham; and great grandchildren, Tatum Struble, Kenlee Struble, Trace Struble, Ryleigh Redenbaugh, Kayson Redenbaugh, Tinsley Erickson, Hadley Erickson, and Kyland King.
She was preceded in death by her husband Frank Redenbaugh on July 19, 2006; sisters, Lena Mae Whittecar, Minnie C. Anson, and Anna May Whittecar.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jeff Struble, Eric Redenbaugh, Hunter Warner, Kyle Redenbaugh, Jeffrey Erickson, and Michael King.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
