WHEATLAND – Helen Louise Shindelbower, 87, passed away peacefully Sunday, January 21, 2018 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, Wyoming surrounded by her loving husband, Loyd, and family members.
Louise Shindelbower was born in Greybull, Wyoming on September 6, 1930 to George Russell and Helen Marguarita (Kelley) Boatright.
Louise had six siblings: Jessie, Margaret, Jenny, John, Diane and George Jr.
She attended school in Greybull until she married Stanley Rech, from this marriage she had five children, George, Lloyd, Ron, Jeff, and Vicki.
Louise married Loyd O. Shindelbower in 1971 and together raised his two children Sandi and Loyd H. Shindelbower.
Louise and Loyd recently celebrated their 46th wedding anniversary.
Louise is survived by her husband, Loyd of Wheatland; seven children, George Rech of Arizona, Lloyd (Delores) Rech of North Dakota, Ron (Lisa) Rech of Texas, Jeff (Debbie) of Wright, Wyoming, Vicki (Jim) Taylor of Wheatland, Sandi (Jim) Gibson of Green River, Wyoming, and Loyd H. (Melanie) Shindelbower of Colorado; siblings, John (Sheila) Boatright of Florida, Diane Boatright of Sheridan, Wyoming, George (Susie) Boatright of Alaska; twenty-one grandchildren; thirty-three great-grandchildren; nine great-great grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
