WHEATLAND – Children of all shapes and sizes will be donning costumes and heading downtown Wheatland for the annual Trick or Treat festivities in downtown Wheatland.
In addition to the downtown fun, The Laramie Peak Museum is also telling visitors to “get ready for spooky fun on Friday, Oct. 28 at the Laramie Peak Museum beginning at 6:30 p.m. sponsored by the museum and Thespian Troupe 605! All ages welcome. The museum is located at 1601 16th Street.”
Also this year in Wheatland there will be a haunted house at the Moose Lodge from 6-10 this coming Saturday.
Merchants in historic downtown Wheatland will once again participate in Trick or Treat on Main Street, Saturday, Oct. 29, beginning at 10 a.m. with a costume parade.
The parade will begin at Frontier Furniture and end at the library where prizes will be given. From there children can proceed downtown where shopkeepers will hand out candy.
The streets will be barricaded beginning at 9:30 a.m. and participating stores will have a giant pumpkin displayed in their windows. Anyone interested in decorating the trunk of their car are encouraged to do so and will be directed to parking areas in the middle of Gilchrist Street.
