LUSK — The Vikings sent seven girls and five boys to compete at the Dennis Zowada Invitational track meet last Saturday in Lusk.
The highest individual finish for the boys belongs to Tate Stoneking’s second place mark of 38-0 in the Triple Jump.
Roy Mote finished fourth in the Triple Jump, hitting 37-5.25. First place went to Andrei Pushkanov from Gordon-Rushville who marked 38-7.75.
Mote also took fourth in the Shot Put, throwing 43-5.5. First place in that event went to Niobrara County’s Jake Heil with a distance of 47-03.5.
Austin Albrecht took fourth in the 200 Meter Dash with a time of 25.64. First place went to Korby Campbell of Gordon-Rushville who clocked 23.85. Albrecht also claimed seventh place in the 100 Meter Dash, running a 12.46. Landon Fuller of Lingle-Fort Laramie won the event, clocking a 12.08.
Justin Malcom finished fifth in the High Jump, clearing 5-0. Teagan Tschacher of Niobrara County won the event clearing 5-8.
Brandon Miller took eighth place in the 3200 Meter Run, clocking 14:00.79. First place went to Upton’s D. J. Till who ran 11:14.96.
