Guernsey Trunk or Treat and Haunted House on Halloween

GUERNSEY – The annual Guernsey Trunk and Treat downtown will be held Monday, Oct. 31.

The streets of Guernsey will be filled with trunk or treaters who had come from all over Platte County to enjoy the hospitality of local Guernsey businesses. The path will take the brightly decorated children and parental escorts from Guernsey Super Foods to Register Cliff Pharmacy, Howshar Hardware, Able Tactical, Bunkhouse Motel, First State Bank, Sagebrush Motel, Banner Capital, Lockman’s Lunchbox, Kelley’s Bar, Ben’s Bar, the VFW, the Town of Guernsey, Tri-City Parks and Rec and Twisters.

The activities will run from 3-5 p.m. and will begin in the VFW parking lot.  

The event is sponsored by the Town of Guernsey, the Guernsey Economic & Tourism Development Corp. and Tri-City Parks and Rec.

In addition, the Guernsey Volunteer Fire Department annual Haunted House will be set up for those ready to be spooked. The Dates that the house will be open are Oct. 29 – 6 – 10 p.m., Oct. 30 – 6-10 p.m. and Oct. 31 – 6-10 p.m.

The cost is $10 for adults and $5 for children 6-11.
