Grape harvest in Sybille Canyon

Posted

WHEATLAND –  On  Saturday Sept. 28,  Sally Sanchez of Sybille Canyon Vineyard and RV Storage held her annual grape harvest. Many locals came out to the event to pick grapes, socialize and enjoy breakfast or lunch.
In 2005 Sally planted 400 grape trees and then in 2007 she planted 200 more. The University of Wyoming has been out several times to conduct studies on her vineyard.
Sanchez also showcased her new event center. The large, rustic barn is designed to hold reunions, wedding receptions and business meetings along with much more. The picturesque landscape offers many photo possibilities.  Dry camping is also available.
