A funeral service for Georgia M. “Jody” Oldsen, 67, will be held at 1 pm. Saturday, July 13  at the Gorman Funeral Home – Platte Chapel in Wheatland with Pastor Marlin Driskell officiating.  
Jody Oldsen passed away Wednesday, July 3 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital surrounded by her family.
Jody was born Thursday, July 19, 1951 in Benson, Minn. the daughter of Gilman Milford and Gertrude Albertina (Vieman) Ulrickson.  
Jody grew up in Castle Rock, Colo. area and was one of seven girls in the family.  She went to Castle Rock High School.  She was a waitress at a truck stop before she attended Front Range College to become a bookkeeper.  After college she started working for Berthoud Bank. She met Raymond in 1971 and they were married Aug. 28, 1971 in Castle Rock.  They were married for 47 years.  
Her and Raymond moved to Wheatland and she began working for CH Brown Company for thirteen years.  
Some of her hobbies included listening to gospel music, reading, crossword puzzles, bowling, square and round dancing, but most of all she loved spending time with her family and grandchildren.
Raymond and Jody belonged to Happy Hoe Downers and Little Brown Bears Dancing Clubs.
She is survived by her husband, Raymond Oldsen of Wheatland;  children, Cody (Christy) Oldsen of Loveland, Colo. and Inga Miller of North Dakota; stepchildren, Raymond Oldsen of Kentucky, Joyce Gott, April Oldsen, and Joan Oldsen; twenty-two grandchildren and great grandchildren; sisters, Anne Trueblood, Karen (Russell) Krause, and Kristin Cutbirth; brothers-in-law, Bill (Judy) Oldsen and Jerry Oldsen; sister-in-law, Louis Whitehouse and numerus nieces, nephews, and cousins.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sisters, Sara Lucasi, Linda Stapelman, and Vickie Good; two twin sisters-in-law; and two brothers-in-law.
A memorial to the Wyoming Cancer Society, 333 South Beech Street, Casper, WY 82601 would be appreciated by the family.
