Gabriela Alejandra “Alex” Estrada Cervantes passed away in Tijuana, Baja Califoria Norte, Mexico, on Feb. 28, 2018. She was born on July 7, 1990, in Tijuana. She was 27 years old.
Alex leaves behind two daughters, Alexa, 11, and Sofia, 18 months. She loved spending time with her daughters; she lived for them and she loved them dearly.
Alex was fun and quick-witted. She enjoyed working on computers, cellphones and small appliance engines.
She is survived by her parents Magdalena (Robert Dominguez Jr.) Estrada, of Guernsey, and Alfonso Salvador Vazquez Aldaz, of Tijuana; maternal grandparents Bertha A. Cervantes and Alfredo Estrada, both of Tijuana; sisters Camila Hollister, of Guernsey, Adriana Garcia, of Wheatland, and Viviana Hollister, of Kentwood, Michigan; brothers Meredith Hollister, of Pryor, Oklahoma, and Treasure Hollister, of Laramie; stepsisters Melissa (Jordan Gateley) Dominguez and Brittany (Ryan Bye) Dominguez, both of Colorado Springs, Colorado; and numerous aunts, uncles, nieces and nephews.
She was preceded in death by her paternal grandmother Esther Aldaz and stepgrandmother Joan Carrera. Alex will be greatly missed by her family and her friends. Te amo mi niña linda, algun dia nos volveremos a ver. (I love you, my beautiful girl, we will see each other again someday.)
