Fritzi, 51 of Safety Harbor Fla. passed away peacefully in her home on April 19 with her family at her side.
Fritzi was born in Douglas to Judy and Bill Kenast. She grew up in Glendo where she enjoyed the Wyoming lifestyle with roping, water skiing and time spent at the cabin at Laramie Peak.
She graduated from the University of Wyoming and followed her dream by moving to Florida 15 years ago.
She was a humanitarian, a volunteer, a go-to person for all who needed help and advice. She was a self confessed “tree hugger” who was passionate about the environment and the community of Safety Harbor.
She was a mainstay of the community, her smile would light up the room and she would engage people with her incredible wit and sense of humor.
Fritzi loved travel, the ocean and mountains and visited many other countries which she documented with her gift of photography.
She leaves behind her husband Alan, mother Judy, sister Mitzi and nephew Carson. Step-daughter Sarah, step-son Nathan and their families in England as well as many many friends in Glendo and all of Wyoming.
A celebration of her life will be held at Glendo Cemetery May 8 at 2 pm. Fellowship will follow at Glendo City Park.
