TORRINGTON — Memorial grave side services for FLORABELLE LEA CARROLL, 88, will be held at 11am Friday, February 9, 2018 at the Valley View Cemetery with Pastor Giles Armstrong officiating. Florabelle died January 29, 2018 at Goshen Healthcare Community and cremation has taken place. Memorials may be made to Lighthouse Ministries, Goshen Healthcare Community or the Torrington Fire Department. Arrangements are by the Colyer Funeral Home and condolences may be sent to www.colyerfuneralhome.com. 
Florabelle was born March 16, 1929 in Torrington, Wyoming the daughter of James and Evelyn (Scott) Bohannan. She grew up and received her education in Torrington graduating high school there. She married Samuel Dean Carroll on March 4, 1949 in Torrington. They lived in Hagerman Valley, Idaho from 1955 till 1958. They moved to Wheatland, Wyoming and lived and farmed there until 1972 when they moved to a farm southwest of Lingle, Wyoming where they farmed until 1989. They moved to Torrington in 1998. Sam died in October of 2017.
Florabelle enjoyed knitting, collecting antiques, painting (oil and watercolor) and growing flowers. She was a member of Lighthouse Ministries, PEO and a knitting group.
Florabelle is survived by her sons Rick (Deb) Carroll and Kelley (Judy) Carroll all of Torrington, Wyoming; grandchildren Taylor (Dawn) Carroll, Bradi (Julie) Carroll, Jessica (Chad) King and Erin Carroll; and great grandchildren Isaac Carroll, Aiden Carroll, Brooke Carroll, Gavin Carroll, Samuel King, Owen King and Jack King. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband Sam; and a brother Thomas Bohannan.
