WHEATLAND – Fall Fest, held at the First State Bank Conference Center was the gateway to the holiday craft and bazaar season.
The event which opened the doors to waiting customers experienced a stampede of traffic all day. The event which was scheduled to run from 10 a.m. – 2 p.m. on Oct. 8, saw people still milling and shopping long after the cutoff time.
There were people who were getting the jump on the holiday season, gathering unique and specialty gifts in hopes of filling their holiday shopping carts early.
There were a variety of crafts including specialty signs, jewelry, food, clothing, decore and so much more. The event was a success and overall there were 24 vendors. It was estimate that over 200 people came and shopped till they dropped at the Fall Fest.
