A funeral service for Elva Winnifred Brickman Paules, 98, will be held at 10:00 A.M. Wednesday, March 7, 2018 at the Wheatland Bible Church in Wheatland, Wyoming with Pastor Jason Iacovetto officiating.  Interment will be held in the Wheatland Cemetery.
Elva Brickman Paules passed away Friday, March 2, 2018 at the Platte County Legacy Home in Wheatland from influenza A and pneumonia surrounded by her family.
Elva was born January 28, 1920 at her grandfather’s ranch home near Fort Laramie, Wyoming the daughter of Fred A. and Vera M. (Williams) Damrow.
She attended grades first through tenth grade in country school and graduated high school in Torrington, Wyoming.  She married Roy Marion Brickman in October of 1939.  Born to this union were two sons, Jim of Crockett, Kentucky and Donald of Longmont, Colorado; and a daughter, Aleen Golis of Box Elder, South Dakota.  She lost Roy on March 24, 1976.  
She married Evan Paules in June of 1992 and became a step-mother to his three children, Stanley of Aura, Colorado, Larry of Torrington, and Janet Hare of North Platte, Nebraska.  
She is survived by her children; step-children; eight grandchildren; one granddaughter-in-law; twenty great-grandchildren; six great great-grandchildren; nine step grandchildren; seventeen step great grandchildren; and one step great great-grandchild.
She was preceded in death by her parents; one infant brother; husbands, Roy Brickman and Evan Paules; two grandsons, Jeff and Roger; one granddaughter-in-law, Samara; great grandson, Colter; and great great-grandson, Caleb.
