DeeAnn Lackey, 72, passed away on Friday, July 31 at the Platte County Memorial Hospital in Wheatland, surrounded by her family.  
DeeAnn was born on Tuesday, September 30, 1947 in Scottsbluff, Neb. the daughter of Carroll and Eleanor (Priest) Card.
DeeAnn was reared and educated in Scottsbluff.  She married Allen Lackey on June 2, 1965 in Scottsbluff and to this union two daughters were born.  DeeAnn was able to stay at home with her daughters until they left home. They moved to Wheatland on August 20, 1964. After her daughters graduated from high school, she worked various places around Wheatland.  
Some of her hobbies included anything that her grandchildren were doing, car shows with Allen, spending time with her friends, traveling, and she was an amazing cook and baker.
She is survived by her husband Allen Lackey of Wheatland; daughters, Karla (Omar) Randle of Carmichael, Calif. and Angie (Gene) Snell of Wheatland; granddaughters, Chelsea (John) Perry and Marsha (Michael) Bise; five great grandchildren; and sister, Judy (Ron) Weinmaster of Scottsbluff.
She was preceded in death by her parents.
A memorial to the Platte County Library, 904 Ninth Street, Wheatland, WY 82201 would be apricated by the family.   
A memorial gathering for DeeAnn Lackey, 72, will be held from 3-5 p.m. on Saturday, Sept. 26  at Lewis Park in Wheatland
