Danny Wade Ralls

Danny Wade Ralls, 73, passed away January 4, 2021 in Coeur d’Alene, Idaho.

Dan was born in Chillicothe, Missouri, the son of John Franklin and Marjorie Neola (Corbin) Ralls on July 9, 1947.  He moved with his family to Guernsey, Wyoming when he was two years old.  He attended school in Guernsey and received his GED later in life.

Dan held many different jobs throughout his lifetime:  ranch hand, truck driver, construction, heavy equipment operator, the Railroad, mechanic, body and paint repair, sales man, and many others. When Dan was 25 years old, he suffered an injury while working for the railroad that changed his life forever.  He suffered his first back injury at that time and the rest of his life was filled with injuries and surgeries. 

Danny loved to travel, he wanted to see new places and try new things.  He loved to read, play cards, and spend time with family and friends.  He was a very social person and loved to be around people.  One of his great loves in life was music.  He loved to dance and couldn’t keep his feet still, and if “Johnny Be Good” or “Brown eyed Girl” was played, he was looking for a dance partner.

On December 24, 1965 Danny married Dorothy Rose Haynes.  Danny and Dot welcomed six children into their lives:  Ricky Shane, Reena Renae, Rebel Wade, Ryan Blane, Rily Shawn, and Rawn Shilo.  They divorced in 1998.  During their life together they lived in Wyoming, Colorado, and Arizona and they shared love and memories of their children, grandchildren and great grandchildren.

Danny was proceeded in death by his parents, John and Marjorie Ralls, his sister Ramona Knott, and his brothers Ricky Sheffield, and John Darrell Ralls. 

Danny is survived by his brother Rocky (Deanna) Ralls; his sisters, LaQuetta (Marlon) King, Shirley (Larry) Daly, Linda Howard and Sandra Ralls; His children: Ricky (Jennifer) Ralls, Reena (Kevin) McCoy, Rebel, Ryan, Rily, and Rawn Ralls;  Four Grandchildren: Heather (Greg) Krall, Trenton (Ericha) McCoy, Logan (Kristen) Ralls and Chandler Ralls;  four great grandchildren: McKynsie, Connor and Karley Krall and Eliza McCoy; and numerous cousins, nieces, nephews and friends.
