The students at Dance Wyoming invite everyone to attend a celebration of the performing arts this weekend.
On Saturday at 6 p.m. and Sunday at 2 p.m., more than 100 pairs of happy feet will dance to songs made popular through the decades.
One of the songs students will dance to is “Jailhouse Rock.” Constumes for this number, which are actual Platte County inmate uniforms, were loaned to the dancers by the Platte County Sheriff’s Department.
The performances will be held at the Wheatland High School Auditorium, and there is no admission charge.
This is an opportunity to celebrate the accomplishments of Wheatland’s children from age 3 on up.
The two shows are free of charge and open to the public.
