WHEATLAND – The first ever Wyoming High School Clay Target Shooting League wrapped up its first season at the state tournament held at the Goshen County Trap Club in Torrington with three teams competing.
Wheatland won the championship by three points with their total team score being 427. Sundance came in a close second with 424 points and Upton scored 373.
“The kids had a wonderful first year,” said team sponsor Angie Kernan with excitement. “They are a great group of kids. State had great participants from Wyoming and it was competitive. Thanks to all who supported the team.”
