Charles V. Lambert passed away on Thursday, Sept. 12 at the age of 86. He was at the VA Hospital in Cheyenne, surrounded by family.
He was born November 25, 1932 in Wheatland to George Franklin Lambert Sr. and Margaret Elnor (Lile) Lambert. He was one of fourteen children. He married Ethel Mae Maston on July 3, 1963.
He is survived by his wife Ethel Mae Lambert. Two brothers (Paul and Raymond Lambert), two sisters (Lois Faye Little and Belle Hanson), three step-daughters (LaDeane Fawn Shepard, Carol Jean Day and Elona Marie Bruner), fourteen grandchildren and numerous great and great-great granchildren.
He was preceded in death by his parents George and Margaret Lambert. Five brothers, Leo, David, Pete, George Jr. and Joseph. Four sisters, Pauline Marie, Deloris Fae, Venita Joleane, Minerva Jane and a stepson, Thomas Neilson Lambert Jr.
There will be a small family memorial held this week.
