Charles Joseph “Bud” Goertz, 79, passed away Thursday, Nov. 14 at his home in Wheatland, Wyoming of natural causes.
Bud Goertz was born Sunday, Aug. 25, 1940 the son of Manness and Bernice Elizabeth (McLees) Goertz in Cheyenne.
Bud grew up on the Slater Flats south of Wheatland on his parent’s farm/ ranch which he later ran.
Bud is survived by his daughters, Pamela Killion, Patricia Lynne McGurn both of Wheatland, and Carolyn Renner of Lander; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
He is preceded in death by his father, Mannes Goertz on Jan. 4, 1990; mother, Bernice Goertz on July 4, 2010; and sister, Sheran Ratliff.
Their will be no services held at this time.
The Gorman Funeral Homes – Platte Chapel of Wheatland are in charge of the arrangements.
