Funeral services for Carrie Ann Hobbs, 76, were held on Monday, Nov. 25 at Memorial Baptist Church in Wheatland with Pastor Chris Furl officiating.
Interment was held in the Wheatland Cemetery.
Carrie passed away Friday, Nov. 15 at Life Care Center in Cheyenne.
She was born Thursday, Feb. 11, 1943 in Wheatland, the daughter of Joe and Dorothy Marie (Snook) Wright. Carrie was raised and educated in Wheatland. She married Larry Leroy Hobbs on June 27, 1960 in Wheatland. She enjoyed reading, bird watching, and rides in the country. She loved her dachshunds, and adored her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren, and was a loving wife.
She is survived by her husband, Larry Hobbs, of Wheatland; children, Trina (Gary) Miller of Wheatland, Evelyn (Doug) Hanson of Lakewood, Colo., and Gary (Audrey) Hobbs of Cheyenne; sister, Zella (John) Slagle, of Wheatland; six grandchildren; and seven great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her parents; sister, Barbara Singer; an infant sister; and brother, Wayne Wright.
Serving as pallbearers were Rick Schultz, Robert Hampton, Rick Anderson, Nathaniel Hobbs, Alan Snook, and Chris Wright. Honorary pallbearers were Tracy Hattan, Danny Wright, Greg Slagle, and John Slagle Jr.
