Carol Sue Shafer, 65, passed away quietly at her home in Pleasant Hill, California, on Sunday, June 3, 2018, three days before her 47th wedding anniversary.
She is survived by her husband, Andy Shafer; daughter Tanya; sisters Pat Derenburger, of Minnesota, Jean Jones (Charles), of Sundance, and Donna Davis (Jerry), of Wheatland; and brothers Bud Day (Eileen), of Gillette, and Bob Day, of Wheatland.
Carol volunteered and worked for 12 years at the Seven Hills School in Walnut Creek, California, where she was loved and appreciated by all. She will be greatly missed.
