WHEATLAND – The annual Bunny Belmont was held at the Wheatland Country Store last Friday to a small group, but was broadcast live on Facebook.
Country Store manager Mandy McIntosh was the Master of Ceremonies while Ned Hageman stood on a raised forklift to catch the race action of two qualifying races and a final race between the two winners - Elmo and Miss Piggy. Additional FFA members helping were Khayla Otero, Madison Wright, Danielle Brow, Garrison Utter and Chadron Hockley.
If Elmo was printed on a recent receipt from the Country Store, patrons can bring the receipt back in for half off their purchase, up to $150 back. Hurry, this promotion is only availabe until May 9.
