Pearson and Smith were two of the four members of Wheatland’s only relay team for the day. Joey Madsen and Simone Mainetti joined Smith and Pearson for the 400-meter relay, with the foursome turning in a time of 47.04 seconds, taking 10th.
The Bulldog boys finished with 20 points in the team standings to finish 12th, just behind Green River’s 24 points. Billings West won the boys team title with 128 points, followed by Natrona County (94) and Kelly Walsh (70).
