WHEATLAND – Bloedorn Lumber celebrated their 100th anniversary in business last Saturday.
There were hot dogs, burgers with all the fixings and door prizes. Door prizes were drawn at 2 p.m. and the winners had to be present in order to claim their prize. There were several gift certificates for Bloedorn in $25, $50 and $100 increments; a five-gallon bucket of paint certificate; and a Milwaukee cordless drill. The big draw was for the three 50 inch televisions.
Jill Graves and her daughter, Jesse, brought black and white kittens for anyone who wished to take one with jokes that anyone who won a T.V. had to take one, so Jim Kumelos did.
“I’m going to call him, ‘Good Kitty,” said Kumelos. “ I got a bunch of mean ones, now I want a nice one.”
