Think for a minute about what brings you the most joy or gladness. I think our joy is often misplaced. Money, fame and possessions will come and go. Life on this earth is temporal and everything in it. Let’s not put so much emphasis on it and put more on eternal things and heaven. After all, that’s where we’ll be spending eternity if we’re a follower of Jesus! People who call themselves Christians should find joy when they see a person repent and give their life to Christ. Heaven is sure full of joy when that happens.
I say to you that likewise there will be more joy in heaven over one sinner who repents than over ninety-nine just persons who need no repentance. Luke 15:7
